Kentucky State Ministry of Education Delegation visits SHU
On April 21, 2015, a delegation from Kentucky
State Ministry of Education led by Deputy Minister Amanda Perry Ellis visited
Shanghai University, accompanied by the Kentucky Confucius institute American
Dean Dr HuaJing. SHU is the first
stop of the delegation in China due to the long-standing cooperation and
friendship between Kentucky state and SHU. Vice President Wang Min met with the guests,
warmly welcomes the delegation's visit, reviewed the cooperation between
University of Kentucky and SHU, emphasized on the establishment of UK-SHU joint
research centre, and expressed the will to enhance the cooperation in the
future.
In the afternoon, Ms. Ellis delivered “Education Strategies for next Generation Education” of Kentucky State, attracted many graduate students from America Study Centre and College of Liberal Arts.
